Biography

Prof. LO Ka-hei, Kenneth is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He obtained the Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. 

Prof. Lo's research interests include nutrition and disease prevention. He has also contributed to the study of ageing by investigating patterns and factors influencing activities of daily living and dietary intake among senior citizens. His work has been published in various journals such as Gerontology and Nutrients. As an award-winning young researcher, Prof. Lo has received honors including but not limited to the Young Investigator Award at the Inaugural Clinical and Translational Cardiology Conference in Hong Kong in 2018, the Best Abstract Award for Young Researchers at the 14th China Nutrition Science Congress in 2019 and being recognized as a Top Reviewer for The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2021.
