Led by Dr Yvonne Han, Associate Professor from PolyU Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, the research team hopes the research study can provide an alternative safe and effective treatment for young people with autism.
A PolyU research team led by Dr Yvonne Han, Associate Professor of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, has found that transcranial direct current stimulation treatment on brain function paired with concurrent cognitive remediation training can effectively improve the social communication skills and cognitive function of adolescents and young adults with autism.
