郭瑛琦博士于中国地质大学（北京）取得工程学士学位，于中国科学院大学获得理学硕士学位，并在香港大学社会工作及社会行政学系获得博士学位，她的博士论文为香港社区环境与精神健康的关系研究。郭博士曾研究绿化环境及康乐设施对香港长者精神健康的益处，并参与了世界卫生组织的健康老龄化新指标的跨国研究。郭博士于2021年11月加入理大康复治疗科学系担任助理教授（研究）一职。她有兴趣研究3S技术（地理信息系统／遥感／全球定位系统）、可穿戴设备、大数据与人工智能在康复科学中的应用。
