郭瑛琦博士於中國地質大學（北京）取得工程學士學位，於中國科學院大學獲得理學碩士學位，並在香港大學社會工作及社會行政學系獲得博士學位，她的博士論文為香港社區環境與精神健康的關係研究。郭博士曾研究綠化環境及康樂設施對香港長者精神健康的益處，並參與了世界衛生組織的健康老齡化新指標的跨國研究。郭博士於2021年11月加入理大康復治療科學系擔任助理教授（研究）一職。她有興趣研究3S技術（地理信息系統／遙感／全球定位系統）、可穿戴設備、大數據與人工智能在康復科學中的應用。
