Payment Methods

(1) Online Card Payment System (for Visa/ Mastercard/ China Union Pay card)

• Select your attendance mode below and click on the payment links, you will be redirected to the "PolyU Online Payment Portal". (Please note that the registration fee for F2F and online mode is different, check the order information carefully before proceeding.)
• Click "Check Out ✓" on the top-right-hand corner of the order information, then click "Proceed to payment (✓)" on the bottom. 
• Input the required information (Full name for official receipt and email address) and click "Continue". 
• Select your payment method (Faster Payment System (FPS)/ Visa, Master Card/ CUP Card), click "Process payment". 
• If registrant(s) selects VISA/Master/CUP Card, the System will connect to the BEA’s JETCO payment gateway (JPG) webpage. Registrant should then input all required information and click the ‘Proceed to pay by Visa/Master/CUP Card’.

Note: Payment acknowledgement email will be sent to the registrant upon successful payment. The payment acknowledgement email serves as an official receipt issued by the University and no separate hardcopy official receipt will be sent to the registrant. 

(2) Bank Drafts/ Cheques 

All bank drafts and cheques should be made payable to “The Hong Kong Polytechnic University”. All registration fees will be charged in Hong Kong dollars. For overseas participants, the exact amount of the registration fee will be based on the exchange rate on the date of transaction. 

(3) Bank Transfer/ Telegraphic Transfer (T/T)

Overseas registrant(s) may arrange urgent payment of the registration fees to the PolyU bank account with information as shown below by T/T. Please note that all bank charges should be paid by the registrant(s). It is important to include the organizing department, the conference title and the name of the registrant in the T/T payment details for processing. A completed remittance advice of the bank transfer should be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. (4) Cash/ Cheque/ Faster Payment System (FPS) and On-site Registration

If registrant(s) selects to pay registration fee through cash/ cheque/ FPS on-site or in advance, please collect and fill in the "Notice of Payment" provided in reception desk and make payment at the Cashier Office of Financial Office at Room VA205 (next to 7-11 convenient shop) in person. An official receipt will be issued upon payment collection.
