School ranked top in Hong Kong and Asia
The School is ranked 21st (vs 48th in 2021 and 51st to 75th in 2020) in the ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2022. We lead the rankings of the BEST universities offering nursing subjects in Hong Kong and in Mainland China (including Taipei), also hold the second place among universities offering nursing subjects in Asia.
Remarkable score increases were achieved by the School in the areas of research influence (72.2 in 2020 vs 76.5 in 2022), and research quality (50 in 2020 vs 65.9 in 2022), which have contributed to our leap in the rankings.
The 2022 GRAS contains rankings of universities in 54 subjects across Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. More than 1,800 out of 5,000 universities across 96 countries and regions are listed in the rankings.
