2. Get prepared
- Identify and contact potential supervisor(s) of your research interest(s).
- Prepare supporting documents for application following the guidelines for submitting supporting documents.
- Applicants of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) should also refer to the Application Guide and Tips.
3. Apply timely
- Create an account in RPgAdmission with your current email address.
- Complete your online application with detailed information and documentary proof.
- HKPFS applicants must quote the HKPFS Reference Number in your online application which can be obtained after you have submitted an initial application to the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme Electronic System (HKPFSES) of the Research Grants Council.
- Proofread your input and uploaded documents thoroughly before submission. Errors or incorrect information may lead to delays in processing or rejection of your application.
- Submit your online application and settle the application fee before the application deadline via RPgAdmission.
4. Stay connected and responsive
- An application number will be shown on your online application after submission. Write down the application number assigned to you somewhere safe. Quote it in future correspondence with PolyU.
- Respond to emails from PolyU for interview invitations and information requests.
