Something about me:

Hi! My name is Gary. I am a senior year admitted (SYA) student majoring in Food Safety and Technology. Before I transferred to PolyU, I studied at Hong Kong Community College. It is not easy for students to articulate from their sub-degree to a bachelor’s degree. I focused on my academic performance. That’s why I didn’t join many activities.

As U-life is important, I joined a wide range of activities after being admitted to PolyU. Being a student ambassador of the SYA Project was one of them. This project was the first thing I met after entering PolyU. The student ambassadors were friendly and helpful in taking care of the SYA freshmen. It impressed me a lot, so I joined it and be a part of this warm family now. I made many new friends not limited to my own program and expanded my social network. More importantly, I can share my feelings with someone with a similar educational background. I feel being connected but not isolated in PolyU. Welcome to be a part of PolyU and us!
