About the Working Group
The Working Group of Subject Quality Assurance (WGSQA) was formed under the auspices of the Learning and Teaching Committee (LTC) in June 2016.
The WGSQA is committed to upholding the quality of subjects within the university. All together, the WGSQA examines the variability in subject QA practice, makes policy/guideline recommendations on the minimum quality assurance standards to be adopted by all departments, and provide supports to help departments meet the basic requirements, to encourage them to strive for a standard that goes beyond the thresholds set accreditation bodies to fulfil the educational role of the University. The WGSQA also initiate workshops and seminars to support departments in implementing existing or new policies relevant to subject quality assurance.
