Presentation Guidelines
Guidelines for Keynote, Invited and Oral Presentations
- All Presentations will be held in Senate Room, M1603 (16/F, Li Ka Shing Tower).
- Lecture Durations (including Q&A)
- Keynote Lectures: 60 minutes;
- Invited Lectures: 25 minutes;
- Oral Lectures: 15 minutes
- Speakers should arrive at the designated venue at least 15 minutes prior to their presentation time.
- The venue offers an on-site desktop PC and an HDMI port for connecting external laptops. Presenters are recommended to bring suitable adapters.
- For using the on-site PC, speakers should either 1) send their presentation file (PPT or PDF) to the Organizing Committee before your presentation date or 2) prepare a USB memory stick to transfer the presentation file.
- The aspect ratio of the screen is 16:9.
- The Organizing Committee will take snapshots of different presentations during the conference, please inform the Organizing Committee if you do not wish to be photographed.
Guidelines for Poster Presentations
- Posters boards with dimensions 1m x 2m (WxH) will be set up in S401 (4/F, Communal Building).
- There is no template nor design requirements.
- Presenters should print their own posters in A0 size (841mm x 1189mm, WxH); there are no poster printing facilities on campus.
- Poster Boards will be installed at 2pm on 10 March and dismantled at 6pm on 12 March 2024. Unclaimed posters will be disposed of without further notice.
- Staff will be on-site to help with putting up posters during the coffee breaks on 11 March.
- Velcro will be provided for putting up the posters; no other materials such as stapler or tape will be allowed.
- Poster awards (x3) will be announced at the Closing Ceremony. Absent awardees will be seen as forfeiting the award.
