To enrich the experience of nonlocal new students, the Non-local Student Services Team of the Student Affairs Office organises the Host Family Scheme for Non-local Students with support from the PolyU Staff Evangelistic Mission for Mainland Students and the RCGFS for international students.

Successful applicants for the Host Family Scheme are introduced to a PolyU staff member, alumnus, or professional recognised by PolyU and invited to join their families occasionally to experience family life, customs, ideas, and values in Hong Kong. The host families DO NOT provide accommodation to participants.

為豐富非本地新生的經驗，學生事務處的非本地學生服務團隊（NLSST）舉辦了以非本地學生為對象的 接待家庭計劃，並獲得了理大教職員福音使命團（SEM）和樂齡與家庭研究中心（RCGFS）的支持，分別接待理大的內地生及國際學生。

成功參加該計劃的非本地新生會被介紹給理大認可的理大員工，校友或專業人員，並被邀請與這些接待家庭接觸，以體驗香港的家庭生活，風俗觀念和價值觀。請注意，接待家庭將不會為參與者提供住宿。

• To demonstrate mutuality and healthy cross-cultural exchange between host families and students
