Aims and Characteristics

Programme Aims & Learning Outcomes

The programme aims to provide technical knowledge and training on building engineering and construction management to students at paraprofessional level. Students will also be equipped with the necessary foundation knowledge to pursue further professional education in building engineering and construction management upon graduation.

Programme Characteristics

The programme has been designed to equip students with the technical skills and knowledge in the construction and real estate industry at paraprofessional level. To cater for the latest development in the industry, elements on Building Information Modelling (BIM) have been emphasised, and incorporated into a number of subjects and project work to prepare our graduates to take the lead in the professional and business environment of the construction and real estate industry. The programme also includes academic elements that foster students’ abilities to pursue further study and lifelong learning after graduation.
