Academic Staff

Dr Mingjin ZHANG is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before that, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department. Dr ZHANG obtained his BEng degree in communication engineering from the Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2019 and the PhD degree in computer science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 2024. He has been a Visiting PhD Student with the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K., in 2023. His research interests include edge computing, collaborative edge AI, IoT, and distributed machine learning.
