PolyU and the Guangdong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau have recently entered into an agreement on forming a partnership to nurture food safety professionals for Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. The partnership consists of academic exchange activities including a summer internship programme for PolyU students offered by the Food Testing Lab of the Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Technology Centre, and regular talks by Guangdong food safety experts to be organized by PolyU.
