Since 1973, the Integrative Health Clinic of the PolyU’s School of Nursing has been supporting the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service’s yearly blood donation drive and has coordinated 189 drives on campus so far. This year’s Blood Donation Week was held in mid-September with the participation of some 600 donors.

In 2009, PolyU was named the most outstanding institution in the education sector in participating in blood donation. A certificate of appreciation was presented to the University by Dr York Chow, Secretary for Food & Health. Details>>
