On 3 September, the Secretary for the Environment Mr Edward Yau visited PolyU and exchanged views with the University’s environmental researchers on the application of academic research to environmental protection. The discussion covered sustainable energy research, building energy saving, indoor air quality, acid rain and the monitoring of air pollution using satellite technology.
