A case series developed by FB’s Faculty of Business Case Consortium (FBCC) has won second prize in the 2021 Global Contest for the Best China-focused Cases case writing competition hosted by the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
The case series, Li and Fung: Stay Public or Go Private (A) and (B) was one of 16 prizewinning submissions from 352 entries. Co-authored by Justin Law, Director of the FB Case Consortium, Li Jiang of the School of Accounting and Finance, Anthony Pang of the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies, and Prof. Shimin Chen of CEIBS, the case series has been accepted into the CEIBS global platform of China-focused cases studies at ChinaCases.org.
The contest seeks to identify and promote teaching cases with a focus on the Chinese business context from a global perspective. It rewards cases presented with high-quality, in-depth teaching notes that incorporate theoretical analyses and/or best practices.
