Biography

Hazel has published in the Journal of Business Ethics and also in the Group & Organization Management journal as a principle author. She received her PhD in Strategy and Innovation as a scholarship holder and also achieved her MSc in International Management at the Bristol Business School, University of the West of England. Hazel has worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland on the Social Enterprise SE100 Index as part of her doctoral thesis The Role of Relationships in Creating Dynamic Capabilities for Social Innovation: The Case of Social Enterprises. Her research foci has since been social innovation, strategic management and social enterprises, primarily in the UK and EU.Her teaching interests lie in strategic management, innovation and social innovation, social enterprises, and research philosophy and methodology. Prior to achieving her post-graduate studies, Hazel graduated as a scholarship holder with a First Class Final Recital from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (UK) as a professionally trained pianist.
