Location:	Seoul
Duration:	Summer WIE starting from June 2025; from 6 to 8 weeks
Compensation:	Unpaid unless specified in Job Description
Visa Requirement:	Applicants must be eligible to work under a Short-Term General Visit Visa (C-3-1) and able to obtain the visa before departure Subject to the entry requirements of the internship destination Note: Students have to bear the cost of visa application*
Financial assistance from GEO:	Offshore WIE Sponsorship (See guidelines)

Eligibility:

Year 2 or above, full-time students of UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes
Aged 18 or above with valid travel document
Excellent English communication and writing skills
Highly independent, proactive, and culturally sensitive
Applicants must be eligible to work under a Short Term General Visit Visa (C-3-1) and able to obtain the visa before departure

Financial Assistance from GEO:
A. Offshore WIE Sponsorship (OWS) (NOT applicable for virtual internship):

Year 2 or above, full-time students of UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes
WIE endorsement from the academic department will be required

B. Hardship Allowance (NOT applicable for virtual internship):

Students with proven financial difficulties can apply for a Hardship Allowance to support expenses incurred in offshore WIE.

C. Learning Incentive:

Students will receive a cash incentive (HK$2,300) for their efforts in maximising the WIE learning opportunities.
