Eligibility:
- Year 2 or above, full-time students of UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes
- Aged 18 or above with valid travel document
- Excellent English communication and writing skills
- Highly independent, proactive, and culturally sensitive
Reference Companies and Job Descriptions:
After being nominated to our partnering organisation (Absolute Internship) and accepted into the Programme, candidates will be recommended to suitable companies based on their WIE requirements, skills and experiences. Below is a list of sample business sectors and job natures for reference (non-exhaustive). Offer will be subject to employers’ discretion.

General Application and Selection Procedures:
Financial assistance from GEO:
A. Offshore WIE Sponsorship (OWS) (NOT applicable for virtual internship):
- Year 2 or above, full-time students of UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes
- WIE endorsement from academic department will be required

B. Hardship Allowance (NOT applicable for virtual internship):
- Students with proven financial difficulties can apply for a Hardship Allowance in support of expenses to be incurred in Mainland or International WIE.

C. Learning Incentive:
- Students will receive a cash incentive (HK$2,300) for their efforts in maximising the WIE learning opportunities.
