Marco specialises in strategic, brand and reputation and operational risks advisory. He has more than 26 years of advisory, auditing and consulting experience in Canada, Mainland China and Hong Kong, managing professional teams and delivering services in a wide range of businesses. His areas of specialties include strategic risk, climate change and sustainability, confidentiality and data security risk, supply chain risk and crisis management.

In addition to client services, Marco also has abundant experience in operational management. From 2004-2006, Marco was the Chief of Staff of the CEO of Deloitte China assisting him to design and execute the business strategy.

Because of his proven track records in change management, Marco has been appointed as the Chief Confidentiality Officer of Deloitte China in 2015. His scope of work was broadened in 2017 to cover areas of people security, privacy and Cyber/IT security. In this role, Marco has developed policies and procedures that can meet both the clients’ and Deloitte Global requirements on safeguarding confidential and private information. He also had led the development of the confidentiality risk culture change program in 2015-2020 and achieved remarkable results.

Marco is also being widely recognised within Global Deloitte as a partner who is inclusive and can manage teams from different culture. He was appointed by the Chief Risk Officer of Deloitte Asia Pacific in 2018 to act as the Security Leader to ensure the effective management of all aspects of security in 8 countries across the region.
