The Healthy Lifestyle Programme (HLS) is a set of courses and activities covering different dimensions of health that aims to help you build up a healthy lifestyle, which is an important and positive aspect to promote success in the university. In this revised programme, you will get to:
- acquire, synthesise, and evaluate knowlege on healthy living;
- differentiate between useful health facts and myths about health;
- identify components of healthy living that contribute in one’s well-being
- make responsible health decisions for self
Programme Duration
You should complete HLS before graduation. There are four components in the programme and it will take around 24 hours to complete. You are strongly recommended to start Component 1 in Year 1 so as to proceed to other components as soon as possible.

^For some special cases (e.g. members in the PolyU sports teams), Sports Training or Sports participation hours accumulated in PolyU before or after taking the Introductory Lecture may be counted subject to the recommendation of the SAO
