PolyU Design is joining hands with South China Media and other leading local green groups and advocates to present a public event to be held on 29 September where 1,000 people will fold eco-paper fans together to express their concern for extreme weather and arouse public awareness of the global climate change.

不少設計師將改善人類生活視為其天職，近年對於環保、可持續發展等方面貢獻良多，對氣候改變極為關注。

今次理大設計響應南華傳媒推出的大型環保企劃「迎戰16度」，一同與本地環保權威及團體合作籌劃「迎戰 16 度」首項大型活動「9‧29 千人摺扇傳愛」，屆時將與千人摺扇抗溫，本地環保權威亦於現場一同探討如何應對極端天氣，希望喚醒大眾對氣候議題的關注。

活動大使林奕匡、梁釗峰、陳健安 、鄧小巧、黃淑蔓及黃妍更以歌聲全力響應。
