Comma Leung (Visual Communication Design, 2015) is the founder of Mosi Mosi, a creative-driven studio taking a human-centered, design-based approach to help people live a better life.
Back to 2015 when Comma was working on her final year project, the intention of addressing the needs of the underprivileged class which are less concerned by the main stream design industry had motivated her to set up Mosi Mosi. Through communicating with the intellectually disabled, visually disabled and physically disabled, and observing their daily routine, Comma believed that tailor-made design could help improve their living quality. One of her project deliverables was a wallet that help the visually impaired identify banknotes by the size. What she designed are not merely products, but care and blessing to the people.
The project brought her the DFA Design Silver Award in 2016, Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award, Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation Jury’s Special mention and visual communication student award in 2015.
Comma’s story is widely covered in the media. Let's take some time to go through some of those and learn more about her.
