The Appreciation Reception for Scholarship and Bursary Donors 2024/25 was successfully held on 15 April at the Wong Man and Tang Kit Wah Global Student Hub. This joyous gathering brought together around 150 esteemed donors, guests, students and PolyU staff members.
PolyU President, Prof. Jin-Guang Teng expressed his sincere appreciation for the unwavering commitment of our donors and introducing the latest developments at PolyU. We were honoured to present certificates of appreciation to extraordinary donors who have steadfastly supported PolyU’s scholarship and bursary initiatives for 15 years or more.
A special thanks to Ms Brandy Tsang, Director of Marketing & Communications Department at Altruist Financial Group Limited, for sharing her inspiring experiences and vision for supporting education at PolyU. The event was made even more special by the captivating singing performance from our talented scholarship recipients, Ms Pataramasakul Pavaris from the Department of Building and Real Estate and Ms Pham Thuy Bich Tram from the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology.
Dr Sunny Chai, Chairman of PolyU Foundation, concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, recognising the invaluable role our donors play in fostering a vibrant educational environment for our students.
