Creeping Charlie (Pilea nummulariifolia) is a creeping groundcover plant that is native to South America and the West Indies. This species has attractively textured, glossy green leaves. It thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments in the Hong Kong climate. It grows best in bright and indirect light in a humid environment and requires plenty of water. This plant can be propagated easily by stem cutting (such as a section of 15cm). Simply put the tip of cutting into water, the root system will start to develop after one week. It is a good option if you are looking for a trailing plant with green ornamental foliage!
