Summary
Urban Farming Programme - Fall 2024 is open for registration now. In this programme, you can acquire knowledge on organic farming and hands-on experience working at your planter boxes through a series of workshops. It gives full experience of growing your own vegetables and connecting with nature on campus. 👩🌾 What's more, by joining the programme, you can earn up to 60 GreenCoins to use with the PolyU GreenCoin app!
In this phase, we will have a sharing session in addition to the farming and workshops. You can register either or both of the activities.
Sharing Session
Topic: Herb Planting in the City
Speaker: Karen Li, Co-founder of Grow Something
Date and time: 12 Sep 2024 (Thu); 1 pm to 2 pm
Venue: Online via Zoom

Quota: 32 teams for each farm
Each team can have up to two members sharing one planter.
(Priority will be given to the teams who have attended the sharing session.)

What to grow:
Lettuce 生菜、Chinese Cabbage 白菜、Kale 羽衣甘藍& Cherry Tomato 車厘茄
Fee: Free of charge*
*Subject to fulfilment of the attendance requirement - attended four workshop including the first workshop. The organiser reserves the rights to charge the workshop fee ($400 or 800 GreenCoins), if participants cannot fulfil the attendance requirement.
🟢 By fulfiling the attendance requirement and completing the feedback form, participants are able to earn 50 GreenCoins!
Language: English supplemented by Cantonese terms when appropriate
