Sustainable Campus
The University consistently implements a sustainable approach when it comes to campus operations, development, programme curricula, and fostering positive change through knowledge transfer. Following the principles outlined in our Campus Sustainability Policies and the key objectives stipulated in our Strategic Plan 2012/13 – 2017/18, during the year, we continued to make progress towards established campus sustainability targets and communicate with and help educate our stakeholders about the importance of embracing a green lifestyle. We also kept working to ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the environmental sphere. As such, there were no significant cases of fines or non-compliance with environmental laws and regulations occurring in 2017/18.
