Dr Fine Fanni LEUNG and Dr Fang Flora GU's article titled “Online Influencer Marketing” (published in March 2022) has won the Sheth Foundation Best Paper Award for Volume 50 (2022) of the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. It was chosen for the award by a vote of the members of the Editorial Review Board, after the Area Editors selected a shortlist of the top 10 papers published in 2022.
They collaborated with Prof. Robert PALMATIER from University of Washington, former Editor of Journal of Marketing and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, on this paper. It is a conceptual piece that sets the theoretical foundation of online influencer marketing, a hot topic in both research and practice, and has been well cited with 110+ Google Scholar citations.
