Relive the highlights of the inaugural Joint University Summer Workshop on Information Systems (JUSWIS) held on July 6-8, 2023, at PolyU Business School's Department of MM!
This annual event, a collaborative effort among the Information Systems (IS) groups at PolyU MM, The University of Hong Kong, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, brought together over 100 faculty members and doctoral students within the Hong Kong IS community. Our two distinguished keynote speakers, Prof. Andrew Burton-Jones, Editor-in-Chief at MISQ, and Prof. Sarker Suprateek, Editor-in-Chief at ISR, captivated attendees by sharing their profound insights on the future of the IS field.
With 20 parallel paper development sessions, authors of accepted papers had the opportunity to present their research and receive valuable feedback from our 8 distinguished guest advisors. The workshop concluded with lively mentoring sessions, fostering open dialogue between attendees and renowned guest advisors.
