Chris Antonelli is a Managing Director and the Co-Head of Asia for Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, having joined the firm in June 2019. In this capacity, Mr. Antonelli primarily looks after the non-investment side of the business.

Prior to Schonfeld, Mr. Antonelli worked at Nomura for 10 years, in both their Japan and Hong Kong offices. He initially joined Nomura Securities in Tokyo from 2008 where he worked until 2012, holding a variety of roles, including APAC Head of Equity Finance and Japan Head of Prime Finance. He was ultimately appointed as Global Head of Prime Finance in May of 2011, a business which he continued to run as he relocated to Nomura’s Hong Kong office in 2013. Mr. Antonelli remained in this role with Nomura International until his departure in October 2018.

At the beginning of his career, he worked at Lehman Brothers in New York City as a Trader Assistant before moving onto the Prime Broker desk. Upon this move, Mr. Antonelli worked as an Equity Finance Salesperson for eight years, a position he continued to serve in when he relocated to Lehman’s Tokyo office in 2004.

Mr. Antonelli graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1998 with dual Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Economics.
