Aims and Characteristics
The Minor programme in Innovation and Entrepreneurship aims at developing students an entrepreneurial mindset, and to equip them with knowledge and skills crucial to the innovation and entrepreneurship process, as well as to effective problem-solving. The Learning Outcomes of this programme are driven directly by the mission of the University and the Faculty of Business and represent a balance between the continuing need for “practicality” in programmes and the pressing need for “whole person development” of students.
Upon completion of this Minor programme, students are expected to be able to:
- Critically assess business environments, and to provide innovative and effective solutions to capture the opportunities that arise;
- Align the resources and interests of different stakeholders in the knowledge transfer process through effective communication.
