Students will learn about the idea of interdisciplinarity, explore the kinds of issue that require an inter-/trans-disciplinary approach to solve, and develop a study plan. |

||
Students will learn about a variety of research methods and start working towards a proposal for their capstone project. |

Build the curriculum following one of three pathways (See Table 2). Students will keep a learning portfolio to be submitted along with the capstone project.

Indicative Progression Pattern for BDSIS
The indicative progression pattern of Interdisciplinary Core and GUR subjects is provided in the table below.
Students should work with their Personal Coach to select appropriate Major subjects and free electives starting from the second semester of Year 1 so that they are well-prepared for their future interdisciplinary studies.
