RiFood and HKNA co-organises the Academic Seminar - HK2020 Growth Charts and Childhood Obesity (只有英文版本)

Collaborated with Hong Kong Nutrition Association (HKNA), Research Institute for Future Food (RiFood) successfully co-organised the Academic Seminar – “HK2020 Growth Charts and Childhood Obesity” at PolyU campus on 14 March 2025. The seminar brought together over 60 dietitians, nutritionists and students studying in Food Science & Nutrition.

香港理工大學（理大）高等研究院今日舉辦首場「研究與創新公共論壇」，以「DeepSeek及更遠的未來」為主題，由計算機及數學科學學院副院長（環球事務）及電子計算學系教授楊紅霞教授擔任主講嘉賓，深入探討人工智能的最新發展。論壇吸引逾千名師生、校友、創科界領袖、學界翹楚和公眾人士出席，以及逾39萬人次透過多個平台觀看直播。

One of our associate directors, Professor Yeung, delivered a talk titled 'RCMI Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Promotion Lecture' on February 26th. During his presentation, Professor Yeung shared insights on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), its principles, and its various applications for improving sleep.

First International Conference on Digital Intelligence for Energy Systems (只有英文版本)

In the Conference, around 200 speakers and participants from different countries, such as Denmark, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Mainland China etc. were invited to share their valuable insights and innovative ideas towards Smart Energy.

RIAM Seminar: Metaverse and Digital Twin Evolution (只有英文版本)

In this seminar, Prof. NEE Yeh Ching Andrew addresses the current developments of digital twins (DT) and the challenges of DT in the metaverse environment, where humans interact with avatars and DT facilities.

On 17 December 2024, the Otto Poon Charitable Foundation Smart Cities Research Institute (SCRI) successfully hosted a Distinguished Lecture titled "Remote Sensing Image Processing from Classical Approaches to AI-supported Approaches". The seminar featured Professor Yun Zhang from the University of New Brunswick, Canada.
