澳洲悉尼科技大學機械與機電工程學院傑出教授及戰略研究總監劉迪凱教授，於2024年10月10日主講理大高等研究院講座，講題為「『以人為本』的智能機械人：案例研究、經驗教訓及機遇」。是次講座吸引了超過120名現場參與者，以及世界多地共超過13,100人次透過嗶哩嗶哩、微信、微博、YouTube等多個社交媒體平台觀看直播。

特拉維夫大學TZEZANA博士主講PAIR講座　剖析人工智能迷思

以色列特拉維夫大學尤瓦勒．內艾曼科技與安全工作坊學人、布拉瓦特尼克跨學科網絡研究中心研究員Roey Tzezana博士，於2024年9月24日主講理大高等研究院講座，講題為「過去兩年，有甚麼人工智能迷思被揭開了？」。是次講座吸引了近120名現場參與者，以及世界多地共超過15,700人次透過嗶哩嗶哩、微信、微博、YouTube等多個社交媒體平台觀看直播。

Dr Jingzheng Ren (ISE) delivered a webinar with the topic of “Towards Sustainable Waste-to-Wealth: Process Development, Decision-making and Systems Integration for Carbon-neutrality and Sustainability Transition” on 23 September 2024. The webinar was co-organized with CEE of PolyU and HKIE Environmental Division. Over 140 participants joined the webinar.

SCRI Seminar: A new research agenda by integrating facility choice behaviors into the evaluation of place-based accessibility (只有英文版本)

The Smart Cities Research Institute (SCRI) successfully hosted a research seminar on 20 September 2024, on the topic of "Facility-Based Accessibility: A New Research Agenda by Integrating Facility Choice Behaviors into the Evaluation of Place-Based Accessibility." The seminar featured Professor Bi Yu Chen from the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing at Wuhan University, China.

美國明尼蘇達大學裴有康教授主講「開發綠色技術，實現可持續環境發展」講座

美國明尼蘇達大學終身校董事教授（Regents Professor）、LM Fingerson／TSI機械工程講座教授裴有康，於2024年9月13日主講理大高等研究院第29場傑出講座，講題為「開發綠色技術，實現可持續環境發展」。是次講座吸引了近百名參加者到場參與，以及超過11,200人次於世界各地透過嗶哩嗶哩、微信、微博及YouTube等各個社交媒體平台觀看直播。

The Distinguished Sports Research Seminar "Wearable Iontronic Devices for Sports and Healthcare Applications" delivered by Prof. Tingrui PAN, Chair Professor of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the Executive Director of Institute for Innovative Medical Devices, organised by RISports and jointly co-organised by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the PolyU - Samaranch Sports Development Centre and the PolyU - HKSI Research Centre was successfully held yesterday.
