Let’s give a round of applause to the men’s soccer team of PolyU that won the bronze medal in the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong soccer competition held on 17 April 2021. The team defeated the Education University of Hong Kong by 3 goals to 2.

 

Lee Chi Ho, Associate Physical Education Officer of the Student Affairs Office, who is also the team manager, said, “Never say never! I am very grateful that all team members performed well in the competition. The lesson we learnt is invaluable to all of us. Let’s get prepared for the championship next year.”

 

Team captain Ng Wa Seng, who is a year 4 student in physiotherapy, said the team enjoyed every moment during the competition. “Though our training was inevitably impacted by the pandemic situation, we all tried our best when we got out onto the pitch. We’ll keep going. We know we’re on the way to success.”
