The PolyU Library Extension Project has won the Best of Design Awards from The Architect’s Newspaper under the category ‘Library’.
The Best of Design Awards is a unique project-based awards programme that showcases great buildings, building elements, interiors and installations from around the world. PolyU's Pao Yue-kong Library has always served as a place of learning and provided opportunities for the PolyU community to acquire, create and share knowledge. The Campus Development Office collaborated with the project team to design, construct and install a rooftop addition that combines indoor spaces with skylights and outdoor areas to provide a stimulating and dynamic learning environment.
