陳博士畢業於香港理工大學取得職業治療學位後，他分別在香港大學和香港中文大學繼續攻讀精神健康碩士學位和心理學深造文憑。去年，陳博士在香港大學獲取了博士學位(主修精神健康)。

陳博士擁有多年精神健康的臨床經驗，並曾於多間公立醫院及非政府機構工作，涉及範疇包括急性精神科服務、社區精神復康和一般精神困擾的心理治療。他的工作集中於復元模式、心理治療包括認知行為療法或尋解導向治療，以及靜觀為本的治療。陳博士在他的臨床實踐中，與他的同事在香港一起制定了一項名為“奇異之旅”(TRIP) 的疾病管理計劃。該方案在本地和國際上都得到了廣泛認同及被列入國際職業治療干預手冊的章節之一，並且於香港急性精神科服務中，也被採納作為恆常的職業治療服務之一。

陳博士的研究興趣集中在躁鬱症、應對靈活性、精神健康復元、心理治療及靜觀。他有多年的靜觀實踐及訓練經驗。陳博士在香港、北京、台灣和美國接受了廣泛的靜觀培訓。
