Innovations in Interaction Design: From Then to Now by Ms Jane Ngai

This lecture explores Interaction Design (IxD) through time, highlighting key innovations from the earliest forms of human-centred design and tracing its evolution through the digital age. From the innovative shift from text-based interfaces to the latest AI advancements, IxD has revolutionised how we interact with the world. If you're passionate about problem-solving, creativity, and technology, discover how these innovations have transformed the way we experience technology and how you can be a part of its exciting future!

Design for a Circular Economy by Ms Jade, Yuk Ling WONG & Ms Carr, Sze Nga YEUNG

Designing for a Circular Economy with Paper Pulp
This lecture explores how innovative material design, specifically using recycled paper pulp, can drive sustainable waste management. Worksheet Studio transforms local waste paper into Reinforced Pulp Panels, a versatile and eco-friendly material. This process embodies a closed-loop system, minimizing waste and maximizing resource utilization within a local circular economy. We'll discuss how this approach creates opportunities for social inclusion by integrating disabled individuals into the production process, contributing to a more resilient and equitable future.
