Summary
Pantone is an innovative tool that allows for the accurate selection, communication, and reproduction of consistent colors worldwide. It is widely used in color-conscious industries such as textiles, apparel, beauty, interiors, architectural and industrial design. Pantone encompasses over 10,000 color standards across different materials including printing, textiles, plastics, pigments, and coatings.
This talk will provide insights into the effective use of Pantone in collaboration with factories and printers, and will cover the following topics:
- The basic science of color
- The history of the Pantone system
- How to use the Pantone system through case studies
- Q&As
