Application Procedures for Research Students

The closing date for on-line application (via www.polyu.edu.hk/study) for Sem 1 and Sem 2, 2024/25 academic year is 31 May 2024 and 30 September 2024 respectively.
With suggestion of prospective supervisor, if desirable please visit Academic Staff.
With declaration of specialism(s).
Settle a non-refundable fee for each application immediately after submitting the on-line application (please pay the fee to the "debit note number for application fee payment" which is generated upon the submission of application. For details of payment methods, please refer to the above website).
Keep the receipt of payment (e.g., ATM transaction, reference number of the PPS/e-banking transaction, or copy of the bank draft/cheque) until the admissions exercise has been completed.
Submit copy of academic and/or professional qualifications/additional documents (within two weeks after submission of application or as soon as you have obtained your current-year awards) by:
Scanning and uploading the documents via the above website.
If amendment of application data is necessary, please edit application information online.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview.
Successful applicants will receive individual notifications advising them of the offer. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified individually.
