Mr KWAN Ka Ho Lawrence
Managing Director, Greater China, Cynosure Lutronic LLC
- Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Optometry (1997)

Mr Kwan, leveraging his background as an optometrist along with his entrepreneurial spirit, cross-cultural skills, and organizational expertise, made significant contributions to the optometry and medical aesthetics industries. Mr Kwan began his career as a private practice optometrist before dedicating himself to optometry professional development at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He launched the first Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Project and expanded the Optometry Clinic to promote clinical teaching, R&D, and public services.

Transitioning to the business world, Mr Kwan joined Johnson & Johnson, where he took on increasing commercial responsibilities and gained geographic exposure across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. As a strategic visionary, Mr Kwan established clinical education institutes and spearheaded national eye health programs in Malaysia and Taiwan, raising awareness and professional standards in optometry.

Mr Kwan’s commercial acumen contributed to Johnson & Johnson’s Vision Care sector across professional development, sales, marketing, Goods and Service Tax (GST) implementation in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia markets, Asia Pacific (APAC) quality, and the Global Myopia Project. With his professionalism and ability to navigate market dynamics, Mr Kwan is currently the Managing Director of Greater China at Cynosure, a US energy-based medical devices company in medical aesthetics.
