Investigating the Impact of Simulated Optical Defocus Conditions on Short-Term Ocular Biometric Changes in Young Adults
Synopsis
Myopia is a growing public health issue, particularly affecting young populations, and there is a need to explore factors that influence its progression. This study aims to investigate the effects of various simulated optical defocus conditions on short-term ocular biometric changes in young adults. The study will expose participants to different optical conditions and measure the resultantant changes in ocular parameters using non-invasive imaging techniques. The findings may contribute to a better understanding of myopia progression and inform new strategies for its control.
