Biography
Chief Supervisor
Project Title
Advancing optometric problem solving through deep learning techniques
Synopsis
I propose a comprehensive investigation into the utilization of deep learning techniques to tackle a range of intricate issues within the field of optometry. These challenges encompass several crucial areas, including but not limited to, the generation and segmentation of fluorescein fundus angiography, the prediction of cardiovascular ailments through analysis of retinal images, the enhancement and refinement of fundus image datasets, as well as the creation of extensive models capable of captioning optometric images and answering visual queries.
My primary objective is to leverage the power of deep learning algorithms in order to significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of medical image processing and analysis in the context of optometry. By doing so, I aim to transcend the limitations of traditional manual approaches and overcome challenges that have persisted thus far. Through the fusion of advanced deep learning methodologies with the intricacies of optometry, I aspire to unveil innovative solutions that have the potential to make a transformative impact across academic and clinical settings alike.
