[Testing] 針對香港市民普遍對鈣、鐵及碘攝取不足的問題，我們計劃利用水耕栽培能以營養液直接供應作物的優點，對香港常食用的沙拉菜/中式菜作生物營養強化,開發高營養價值的水耕蔬菜,實現精準水耕。我們將以理大現有的專利技術為基礎, 通過理大「信佳城市綠色耕種研究實驗室」的室內環控式水耕平台進一步研發高效的生物營養強化技術，重點探討不同化學形態及濃度的鈣、鐵及碘對種植香港常食用的沙拉菜/中式菜之營養價值及產量影響。此外，我們將與本地水耕企業合作，以其水耕種植工場作為中試基地，放大及進一步優化於實驗室研發的生物營養強化技術,構建一條中試規模生產線並制定有關的標準作業流程。為全面提升本地水耕菜的市場競爭力，我們計劃通過理大食品分析實驗室、理大感官評估實驗室及第三方檢測機構全面檢測及評價中試生產的生物營養強化水耕菜其營養成分、食物安全風險以及感官品質, 特別是鈣、鐵與碘的腸吸收etc
