Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science

All students admitted to the BSc (Hons) Scheme in Computing & AI will embark on a Common Year One curriculum in the Faculty. In the second year, they can select the individual awards and study the corresponding content. All these awards feature a Minor option and an individual or a group integrative capstone project in the final year.

BSc (Hons) in Computer Science

  • Year One: fundamental knowledge.
  • Year Two: generic broad computing skills, and basic business and management concepts.
  • Year Three: strengthening computing technologies and applications in IT.
  • Final Year: specialisation in different areas such as data mining, computer graphics, e-commerce, Internet computing, multimedia computing and game programming.
