Getting to the Conference Venue
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is in Hunghom and at the city centre. It is highly accessible via various means of transportation.

From the Airport to PolyU
- By MTR
First, take Airport Express from Hong Kong International Airport to Tsing Yi Station. Next, change at Tsing Yi Station Platform 4 to Tung Chung Line (towards Hong Kong Station). Then, change at Nam Cheong Station Platform 2 to Tuen Ma Line (towards Wu Kai Sha). alight at Hung Hom Station and take the footbridge at Exit A1 or D1 to the campus. A single journey takes around 40 minutes for the ride, and costs HK$65 (with Octopus) / HK$70 (without Octopus). Please refer to the MTR website for details.
- By Bus
Take Cityflyer route A21 from Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) Bus Terminus to Hung Hom Station. Take the footbridge at Hung Hom Station Exit D1 or A1 that leads you to the campus. It takes around 75 mins for the ride and costs HK$33. For more details, please read the Citybus & NWFB website.
- By Taxi
Take Urban red taxis to go to PolyU and drop off at the main entrance at Cheong Wan Road. It costs around HK$280 and takes around 45 mins for the ride. Additional charges occur for large baggage. The toll and return toll are both payable by a passenger for cross-harbour hiring. For details, please read TAXI FARE.
Getting around PolyU Campus
Campus Accessibility
Most Buildings on campus are accessible via ramps or lifts. Signs are available inside cores to indicate the location of wash rooms for the wheelchair users. If you need any special assistance in attending our events, please contact us at eac.2024.info@polyu.edu.hk in advance for more information.

Octopus card
The Octopus Card is a rechargeable contactless card that can be used to pay both for transport in Hong Kong and for many shops and restaurants. The on-loan Octopus Card has a refundable deposit of $50 and an initial top-up value of $100.

Travel visas
