Writing effective abstracts for educational research-related writing can be challenging for novice writers due to several key features, such as the need to be eye-catching, concise, and clear.

Drawing on authentic examples, this workshop highlights six recurring moves in successful proposal abstracts as well as the language skills used to achieve them.
