Establishment of EEE Innovation and Technology Hub
We're thrilled to announce the opening of the EEE Innovation and Technology Hub—a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to nurturing groundbreaking ideas and fostering tomorrow's technology leaders. The Inauguration Ceremony held on 13 November 2024 brought together distinguished academic staff, industry partners, and research students, marking a significant milestone for EEE.
Prof. C.Y. Chung, Head of Department, commenced the ceremony, emphasizing the pivotal role of innovation in addressing Hong Kong's societal needs and the University's commitment to fostering creativity and progress. “The EEE Innovation and Technology Hub is a testament to our dedication to nurturing innovation and empowering our students and researchers”, he remarked.
Prof. Hwa-yaw Tam, the Director of the Hub, introduced the Hub's focus on early-stage technological advancements, particularly Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 1-5. He also highlighted the aim of the Hub to bridge the gap between innovative ideas and real-world applications.
