This workshop will look at the what, why and how of outcome-based education (OBE). It will cover the fundamental concepts of OBE and provide practical tips on formulating learning outcomes and planning teaching and assessment activities using an outcome-based approach. Teachers looking for an introduction or a refresher on the topic are equally welcome.
By completing this workshop, you will be able to:
- Explain the fundamental concepts of OBE
- Write and critique statements of learning outcomes
- Plan and review a subject using an outcome-based approach
